Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s appeal came as Russian soldiers strengthened their grip on Mariupol, a city in southern Ukraine that has been bombarded.
On Saturday, Russia’s military launched hypersonic missiles into Ukraine for the first time, hitting military locations in western and southern Ukraine, according to reports.
