Engine

The engine of the GR Corolla was retuned by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing engineers for more power, with peak torque arriving in around 3250-4600RPM.

Additionally, the MORIZO Edition produces 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, compared to 273 pound-feet in its brothers.

For pleasing acceleration across the power range, the MORIZO edition has a distinctive close ratio intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) and shorter differential gears.

Sports-Conscious and Less Interior Bulkiness

Technically, it has no rear door speakers or rear window regulator, even the rear wiper blade and motor were removed to conserve every ounce, the two-seater configuration allowed for even more weight reduction in the back.

The black interior of the MORIZO Edition is accented with red trim around the door handles, steering wheel, and side air vents.

Additionally, features of the seat Red stitching and red mesh inserts complement the Brin Naub® suede and synthetic leather trim, which includes GR badged headrests and a 6-way adjustable driver’s seat.

Infotainment

The Core and Circuit Edition both have a 12.3-inch digital color Multi-Information Display (MID). Toyota’s new Multi-Media System with touchscreen is standard, as is Toyota’s Safety Sense 3.0 (TSS 3.0) system.

Touch and voice activation allow users to interact with the new system’s design.

Simple words like “Hey Toyota” activate the Intelligent Assistant accessible through ‘Drive Connect’, allowing voice-activated instructions to search for directions, identify Points of Interest (POI), modify music settings, change cabin temperatures, and more.
