Oppong Nkrumah: Hopefully We Will Have All Our MPs in Parliament To Pass The E-levy

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Information Minister, expressed optimism that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will have all of its members in parliament to pass the E-levy.

Mr Oppong Nkrumah acknowledged that one of the NPP MPs had been absent from Parliament, but he expressed confidence that the problem would be handled soon.

As a result, Micheal Okyere Baafi, a Member of Parliament for New Juabeng South, has stated that Adwoa Safo is obstructing the government’s work in Parliament.

“All the problems government is facing are attributable to Adwoa Safo,” on Kumasi’s Hello FM, he stated, “Clearly, her intention and posture show that she wants to sabotage NPP.”

Similarly, Kennedy Agyapong, an Assin Central lawmaker, sparked worries about Adwoa Safo’s behavior.

According to Kennedy Agyapong, the Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection had “failed in life” by asking to be appointed as the Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament.

He was perplexed as to why a cabinet minister would choose to take a post below that of a Minister.

“She says she wants to be Deputy Majority Leader, that woman has failed in life. A whole cabinet minister now demanding that she should be made a Deputy Majority Leader before she comes, she should go to hell.”
